Caren Lee, LCSW, PLLC

Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Private Practice Owner

Caren Lee, LCSW, ACSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 24 years of experience dedicated to the communities that need care the most. As founder of Caren Lee, LCSW, PLLC, she provides clinical consulting and strategic support to healthcare systems, academic institutions and community agencies serving underserved populations across the lifespan, from children and families to older adults navigating chronic illness and complex transitions.

Caren holds a Master of Social Work from New York University, a Bachelor of Social Work from Delaware State University and a Certificate in Geriatric Care Management from the Brookdale Center for Healthy Aging at Hunter College. A committed educator, she has taught continuing education at Hunter College and has spoken at NYU, Seton Hall University and the University of Saint Elizabeth. At St. Joseph’s Health, she created and leads an internship program developing the next generation of BSW and MSW professionals.

Her work is personal as well as professional. As someone who has navigated the healthcare system alongside aging parents, Caren brings both expertise and lived experience to her practice.

At the 2026 Virtual Symposium, she will draw on that depth to present “Resilient Healthcare Teams Addressing Social Drivers,” a call to build teams that are not only clinically competent but genuinely equipped to meet patients where they are.
