Geovanni Vazquez is a doctorally prepared Clinical Social Worker and Behavioral Health Scholar with over 14 years of experience in higher education, clinical practice and interdisciplinary collaboration. He possesses expertise in mental health, substance use disorders and social determinants of health, along with a strong record of teaching, research and student mentorship.

He has experience in developing and delivering curriculum for diverse student populations, including bilingual and non-traditional learners, and is actively engaged in scholarly research, with multiple peer-reviewed publications in 2025 that focus on health disparities, recovery-oriented systems of care, and culturally responsive interventions.
