Amarilis Pena is a Registered Nurse and Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager (CBHCM) with over five years of clinical and case management experience serving individuals facing complex challenges including homelessness, mental health disorders and substance use. She currently works as a Behavioral Health Case Manager within a Permanent Supportive Housing program at Integrated Healthcare Systems in West Palm Beach, Florida, where she applies Motivational Interviewing as a core tool in her daily practice to engage clients, support person-centered care planning and navigate the ethical complexities of wraparound behavioral health services. Her work is deeply rooted in meeting people where they are with empathy, cultural humility and a genuine commitment to providing dignified, quality care. Amarilis recently passed the CCM certification exam and will be adding this credential to her practice upon receipt of the official certificate.
